free mobile phone health information through
"text4baby" which provides
timely health information for pregnant women during pregnancy and for new
mothers through the baby's first year.
Women who sign up will receive free SMS text messages each week, timed to their due date or
baby's date of birth.
Text4baby is made
possible through a national public-private partnership that includes the
Federal government, corporations, academic institutions and non-profit
organizations. Text4baby wireless carriers voluntarily provide the critical
communication links of the initiative, and distribute text messages to
recipients at no charge.
